We speak truth to power, countering the propaganda of the fossil fuel machine.
Fossil Free London is a welcoming, productive and empowering space. Anyone who agrees with our mission and values can join us and there is a role for everyone.
Our campaigns
Our Anti Oil and Gas campaign strand works to counter key fossil fuel corporations (like Shell) and new oil & gas projects (like Rosebank).
Our Fossil Free Anti-Fascism strand campaigns against fossil-fuel-backed leaders like Trump and Farage, and seeks out new alliances to support our comrades in the anti-fascist movement, to find old and new ways to resist together. We understand that ascendant fascism will erode climate wins and must be resisted.
We also work to defend the right to protest, which is core to what we do.
Our wins
We’re pushing against the tide of climate collapse, which is well on its way.
But we’ve made some serious waves over the past few years. We shut down one of London’s biggest oil conferences, had over 5 million of you watch us crash a glitzy dinner celebrating Trump’s state visit, brought thousands of people to the streets to protest Rosebank and got a far-right party cancelled.
